Monthly News Letter

REGENT'S CORNER

Dear D of I Sisters: Remember our June meeting is our annual cook-out. Hope to

see you and your guest there. August 16th we have scheduled a bus trip to Toledo

for the musical "Mamma Mia" and dinner Biaggi's Ristorante Italiano. The cost

is $99.00 per person which includes bus trip, dinner, and show if we 20 person. But

if we have 30 person it will be $89.00. These reservations have to be confirmed by June

27th. We will depart at 4:30 P.M. from the Knights of Columbus hall returning at

12:30 A.M. Because show tickets have to be reserved. Payment due upon sign up. Any

Davison Mich. 48423.  At our May meeting we had a Baby Shower. The items that were

given were divided between Lapeer Women's Shelter and St. John's Christian Service.

I was pleased with the gifts, as I am sure any new mother in need will be. Many 

thanks to you D of I sisters, you always come though. We sent $200.00 to the  baby

shower at the International Convention Aug. 6, 2006 in Toronto, Canada.

At the North End Soup Kitchen volunteers dinner April 26th, we were honored for

the 6 years we have taken $100.00 worth of personal needs items there each month.

They really count on our donation. The thanks goes to you ladies who supported this

project. It was kind of them to honor us, as there are many others who also contribute

to NESK in one way or another. Once again I must remind you that dues for 2006

are due. Please send $15.00 to Diane Sheetz, 11116 Henderson, Otisville, Mich.
